About Let's Chat

Connecting people and their local community with the aim of tackling loneliness with transport. Everyone is likely to experience loneliness at some time in their lives, this project is aimed at giving people easy access to both finding and using that support. Meet new friends, get advice, or find out more about local services and support groups. Everyone’s welcome, so pop in for a cuppa and a chat!

Mobile Hubs

Our mobile hubs will be parked up around the community. The bus will have lots of information about activities in your local community and our friendly staff will be on hand to help with any issues you may have. If you spot us, hop on for a cuppa and a chat! Everyone is welcome.

Community Transport

Do you need transport to attend a community activity or does your group need transport for your members? As part of Tackling Loneliness With Transport, we are offering door-to-door travel for £1.30 per person per journey making regular, local, group travel affordable. Travelling via Community Transport allows you to share your journey with other warm, friendly and like-minded people. To book your trip, contact us.

Community Hubs

Community Support

Anyone can visit our Hubs and browse community notice boards for plenty of information about what’s on offer in the local area. Or if you fancy a chat, staff will be available to offer support and can direct you to other community and support services.

Visitors can also find other organisations such as Citizens Advice in the Hub delivering their services to residents.

Everyone is welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a chat!

Meeting Space

Our Community Hubs are also available for use as free meeting spaces open to charities and community groups. We can accommodate groups of up to 24 members, with sessions to be booked within the open hours. Refreshments are provided and if members need door to door transport, we can offer this at £1.30 per person per journey.
